Last weekend I went to a Women's Expo here in KC, and there was a booth doing aura photos and chakra imaging with a 10 page report. After talking with the couple running it for awhile (they were really nice people!), I decided to try it. I wanted to see what this report thing was, and I'd never seen chakra imaging before and wondered about its validity. I normally don't go for this kind of stuff because overall I don't find it terribly useful. I mean, I know if I feel good, or if I could be better, so what's the point? It's like getting a psychic reading- you already know what any good psychic will tell you about yourself. But still, it can be fun, I suppose. Confirmation and validation can be useful and have their place, so long as we don't give away our power to someone else's knowing over our own.
The only other time I ever did an aura photo was a year ago, a month after my teacher yelled at me for 90+ minutes. I sat for a few minutes beforehand, calling in light, trying to make my aura look as good as possible. I wanted to trick the machine. It didn't work. My photo clearly shows the grief and confusion (the muddy colors above my head) I was experiencing over having been yelled at about my teaching, and that was the first thing the aura reader said (You are experiencing much grief over your career, and it is related to your spiritual path...). I cried tears of relief to have been seen so clearly through my smile, and tears of sadness that I had allowed my energy to become muddied by my emotion.
So this time I was like, yeah, whatever. I didn't prep myself at all (because I learned last time that it didn't work anyway). Interestingly, the photo people said the readout is on your baseline state of energy anyway, as in what state you normaly hold. I didn't know that! Not sure how that works either, but I found it to be true twice now, so I guess it works somehow.
The top photo isn't an aura photo, per se...
The left side (where the green is) shows the energies coming into me, or available to me from the Universe, the dots in the middle are the chakras, and the right side (pink, which is really blue-white, but shows pink since blue-white wouldn't show) shows the energy coming out of me, or in other words, how I am metabolizing the energies available to me, what I am doing with those energies in the world. What I am recieving to what I am giving.
The bottom photo with all the gold is the representation of my aura, also still showing the green and pink of the energies coming and going.
I found the chakras particularly interesting, and I was glad for the lady to interpret those for me. The report says turquoise comes into the crown, and aquamarine goes out the root. What the lady said is that since both of those colors mean healer with different qualitiies (peaceful and divine being the differing qualities), that it meant I was able to hold the energies I'm being given in their purity all the way through my energy system, and send them out to the world without distorting them.
The golden orb is my 3rd eye, and the bluish-white orb is my heart chakra. All upper and lower energies meet at the heart chakra.
This makes me think about chakras and the things people are told about them...
There is a misnomer that chakras are 'supposed to be' the rainbow colors - ROYGBIV, but that is not entirely accurate. Our chakra colors are constantly changing with information that is coming and going from us in any given moment. Balance for one person may look like a rainbow at times, but balance for another may not ever. Chakras are in a constant balancing act. One moment your sacral chakra may be wide open and you are feeling creative and connected, then someone who you know to be critical of you walks in and it slams shut in a protective reaction, while some other chakra opens on high alert status. It's a dance.
Also, chakras go through stages of enlightenment, moving through a range of colors as unique as the individual, to golden, then white, and stages of radiance and luminosity that don't have color names.
Many energy workers are taught to place the ROYGBIV colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) into the corresponding chakras to balance them, but the truth is that if someone's chakras are holding a state of vibration beyond those colors, you are not doing them a service by lowering their vibration back to ROYGBIV. One chakra can be 'enlightened' while other chakras are not. Some chakras may still be holding karma or patterns, beliefs, habits, etc., while other chakras aren't.
My chakras, for example, are mostly in the green family, which is a heart-centered color, a color of healing, growth, and renewal. My chakras are all in alignment with the work I am doing and the passion in my heart. My beloved who went with me to the Expo also had a reading done, and all her chakras were vibrant and beautiful oranges and yellows. This is perfect for her! She is a fitness professional, and her vitality and love of the human physiology shows in her chakras. We can't judge ourselves or others based on an overly simplified version of energetic health based on a color chart
Energy is intelligent. It knows where to go and what to do. My suggestion to anyone who works with energy is that they call on and use golden light (Christed Consciousness) and Divine Love-Divine Grace, which may appear white-ish or bluish-white, but is softer than 'white light', which in its purest form amplifies whatever is already there and can be too harsh for the job. Pink can also be used freely and liberally- it is a quality of Divine Love that is soft and gentle, comforting. The softer white of Divine Love/Grace is a pure form of intelligent love that purifies and enlightens by raising lower vibrations, not amplifying them.
For example, if someone is upset or in pain, if you see an accident on the road, or your boss is in a rage, you won't want to send white light to any of those situations. It's like a magnifying glass in a ray of sun. White light is very powerful, and is a magnifier, an intensifier. If someone is in pain or angry, they may be expressing a lot of red in their energy field in that moment. To amplify that can be like throwing gas on a fire.
Pink light, however, is soft and gentle, calming and nurturing. You can amplify pink light with white light (again, imagine a magnifying ray of that white light hitting the pink light, and if you perceive energy, you will see or feel the difference - the soft pink will still be nurturing, but it will become very powerfully focused as well, like a lazer beam instead of a cloud).
And you can always call on angels, guides, and beings of light for yourself and others. They cannot serve unless they are asked. They cannot interfere with our free will, so they wait until they are invited to serve in a situation. Call them. Often! They are longing to serve us.

Help

Love the post. Beautiful photo of your chakras. I am very attracted to pink and yellow, especially in light and energy. Makes sense why reading this.
Will call on my angels for the day and will wish you a bright one too my friend. :)
xx
thank you for sharing! everything you had to say was so interesting. and it helps me on my journey. i was told by a friend that when they see my aura it looks like basically a bunch of little rainbows coming out of me. as if i am a crystal or prism for white light. ya know how crystals if hung in the window as sun shines on them they make little rainbows around the room??? that's me and what is funny is that since i first saw that happen when i was a little girl there's nothing i've loved more material wise than crystal. i would like to know what you think that these crystaline rainbows represent to you or by your knowledge. thank you so much again.
Different people will intuitively see different things when looking at the same person based on what their own level of awareness and vibration is, what they are attuned to, so to speak. One person may perceive your pain, another may see your chakras, someone else may see the colors of your life path. Also, there are many, MANY layers in the aura- countless! -and they are all unique as well, so someone very earthy and grounded may see your subtle body that relates to your root chakra, while someone who tends to be a little 'out there' to some people may be more in tune with your 3rd eye chakra, and will see lots of glittery energy.
Are you following me so far?
So, I do not know to what level your friend is attuned, what aspect of your being is being reflected to her. However, having said that, I will mention a phenomenon called 'Crystal Children' and kind of explain what that means…
Groups come to the planet with a collective purpose, sometimes very small groups, sometimes very large groups. Over time, many of these groups have had the purpose of helping humanity raise to a new level of vibration and understanding, and in a big picture sense, we have gone through the chakras from root upward.
Root deals with basic survival needs- eating, basic safety, procreating. Fight or flight stuff, can be very animalistic, very in tune with the Earth, etc. Think, for example, of cave men.
Sacral (in the pelvis) deals with creativity and relationship, or I/Thou connection. Why did cave people begin to draw and record their history? Not only were they expressing a creative impulse, but they began to realize and connect with a future they would not see for themselves.
And so on. As time goes on, the time it takes to bring in these changes speeds up, taking less and less time. Jesus brought great, magnificent Love to the planet (so they killed him). It was radical for the time. We still kill great spiritual teachers much too often- Ghandi, MLK Jr., etc. Jesus was not only a master of the heart chakra, but master of all the levels. He came to show humanity how to love, and that so much more was possible- Divine Humanity.
I digress. Many Baby Boomers came in with a blue theme, relating to the throat chakra - divine communication at its best, and war at its lowest. What has happened in the lifetime of the Boomer? Cell phones, internet, cable tv-HUGE advances in human communication, and lots and lots of war. They brought the ability for humanity to more easily access communication with the divine, but in our materialistic society, we chose to focus more on the creation of human communication. No problem. It's all good. Boomers did the hippie thing, broke the rules of communication, shattered the boundaries, opened the world up for more loving communication. It was hit from any and all angles.
In the later part of the 1900's many seers began to notice an influx of children with indigo hued auras, relating to the 3rd eye chakra, and labeled them Indigo Children (funny, since a huge characteristic of Indigos is that they hate to be labeled!). Many of these kids seem to be born awake, connected to the divine, knowing and speaking of God from an early age, correcting their parents faulty dogmatic views, and exhibiting great psychic abilities. And great stress, depression, anger, etc. when they are repressed or misunderstood or feared by their own families. They become defiant and subversive (so we put them on Ritalin to control them).
Indigoes (and every other color) have been coming in for hundreds, and some even thousands of years to pave the way. Jesus flipped tables in the church because God was not being honored- a very indigo thing to do. Edward Cayce was very religous, yet channeled prophesy, was very connected to the divine. Along the way, more and more came until the floodgates opened wide sometime in the mid to late 1900's.
So while Indigoes have this amazing potential for connection with the divine, on the flip side they can become very destructive of that which is not honoring God (even self-destructive when they lose or are forced out of that innate connection). Part of why they came is to change the world, to expose humanity's 'faults' that prevent them(us) from knowing ourselves as God. This can be very peaceful, or very painful for humanity. They are tearing down the illusion and exposing Truth with a capital T. Divine Truth. Truth that is changeless.
I should also mention that anyone and everyone can (and will eventually) move to each level. The Boomers who came in with the Blue group purpose color are not 'stuck' there. This was the message of Jesus, and also Buddha- that we can transcend and become greater than we ever imagined, that we can be Divine Humans and know ourselves as God or Source or Infinity. We can all walk on this planet as Masters. No one is exempt, thus no one need have ego about their purpose here. None of us could do what we came to do without the service of those who paved the way before us.
Right on the heels of the great influx of Indigoes came the Crystal Children, said to have crystalline auras (which really means crystalline group purpose, but people often confuse it with the aura when they are only aware of seeing only this one aspect), those who are bringing in the potential of the crown chakra, the ability for humanity to live in a Christed Consciousness, or a Buddhic Consciousness, Diamond Consciousness.
Their Crystal purpose, as Indigos destroy illusion and expose where we are out of alignment, is to step in and help humanity rebuild, but based on a higher consciousness, based on global consciousness, based on the good of Mother Earth, based on a love consciousness. Also, many who started on the planet as Indigos are easily transitioning into Crystals as their purpose is moving into a new phase. Many are on the cusp between the two.
It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds with Obama in office - will it be painful or peaceful? It's up to us, not him. He will play the role WE need in order to move to the next level of consciousness, just as Dubya has given us exactly what we needed in order to learn and to bring us to this point where we are ripe for change. It is all perfect and divine.
So that was a lot of explanation to say that my guess is that your friend sees in you that Crystalline Nature, your ability to live in the highest aspects of humanity, and to help usher that in for the planet.
Google Crystal Children and look up the common traits. See if it fits you. Also look up Indigo Children's traits (you will see a huge difference, so it will give you more perspective on wow that really fits, or wow, there are people like that?!).
Be warned that there is a LOT of crackpot info, and a ton of misunderstanding and misinterpretation. I've written a couple of posts about Indigos that you can look up.
Hope this helps shed some light for you. Any of this fit for you?
In the end, all that matters is that we came and lived our divine potential. We all play a role, and every part is significant.
Much love,
Shani

My dear that was the MOST helpful anyone/thing has been. I've looked up indigo and i have all the traits of one in the past. but i feel myself moving forward and this crystaline must be where I am going… now that i've met my twin flame my whole life has shifted. i am far more aware and sensitive to my surroundings. my only desire is to help people see and lead by example. tyler and i have made plans to open a bed and breakfast that just seems to keep expanding to our own mini society where anyone willing to learn a more efficient, earthfriendly and peaceful lifestyle will be welcome. we want to open a private school that will cater to children and their idviduality instead of bread egotisical autonomes. everything you said makes so much sense and i am thankful you took the time to provide the bigger picture. something i have always been aware of but unable to express so eloquently as you have. thank you sooooo much!!!!
