Kali Kali Kali & Ma Bagalamukhi

Say it 3 times. That is how you invoke Divine Mother Kali who is the destroyer of ego, liberator from human imperfection. She is very loving and devoted. She is most compassionate, as she will fight limitation, ignorance, and darkness, so humans can be free from illusion. Kali will move a sincere aspirant very quickly.

I called on Kali today. She is one of my favorite energies to work with.

Today, Kali was fierce with me. She triggered all kinds of stuff that I needed to look at. It was very good. Not comfortable or pleasant, but good nonetheless. She not only showed me where I needed to do work in myself, but also where I now have great strength that I completely lacked before.

I love chanting to Kali. Okay, I love chanting. But I really love chanting to Kali.

I rember in Palm Springs with Sai Maa, we were chanting Kali Bolo and in the space between refrains, Maa would say, "Kali! Kali! Kali!" and then smile from ear to ear. It cracked me up!

So this weekend, at Joey's intensive, we did our internal energy exercises, and as I was laying on the floor at the end of them, meditating, I felt a huge foot stomp me.

I'm not kidding when I say huge. It felt like concrete or stone, and it covered my entire abdomen and chest.

Involuntarily, I had a projectile exhale that sounded like, "HUA!" as this foot came down on me. I had no idea where that came from. One minute I'm in the womb of all creation, and the next minute, the air is being knocked out of me by some unseen (but very present) force.

I'm not sure if that was Kali or Ma Bagalamukhi, but these Divine Mothers are awesome!
